The advertising gurus have developed ways to put on names of their clients on almost everything that exists. From the sides of Formula one cars to even the bellies of flying aircraft. There is no place left when an ad hasn’t reached. Banners and boards are other places that have taken various shapes and sizes in case of advertising. One of the leading tactics of advertising on boards on a busy passing lane is the feather flag. Another method is by employing A-frames or sandwich signs. Let’s look at the merits and demerits of both to form an opinion about which one we should select for our advertising.
A feather flag is an advertising board made of lightweight plastic material. This is in the shape of a feather and can be combined with a pole to be erected anywhere you want especially outdoors. They are primarily used in festivals, performances, or on a march or convoy roadsides to deliver or propagate the message. These feather banners are engineered to withstand moderate and fair weather conditions (that includes snow, rain, or wind).
They can be installed in a slight amount of space and are very easy to assemble. Since they have been designed in such a way, they can sustain light weather conditions. The customer feather flags are also portable and can be installed at a different location in a matter of minutes.
They are not a long-term solution and can be easily removed or ticked off onto the ground. They come in a limited size which means that only a person passing by from a few feet away from it can read the message. It can also not bear hard weather conditions.
A-frame sign is also called a sandwich sign since it resembles a sandwich. It can be placed anywhere, and the advertisement can be put on both sides of the A-frame which looks like a partially open large-sized book put on the floor face down.
They are very cost-effective especially when they can be used for a longer time. Since A-frame signs have a larger base, they can withstand harsh weather conditions as well. Sandwich signs come to great size as well which enables them to be erected for far away viewers as well.
However, A-frame signs require ample space to be constructed and therefore may cause a problem where space is a constraint. It is also not a good indoor option as sandwich signs take a lot of space which hampers the walking space in an indoor arena.
It's hard to choose without considering the end use of the banner. If you want to place it outdoors on the side of the road, the custom feather flags are the choice for you. However, if you require a long term solution where space is not an issue, sandwich signs are the ones to be chosen.
